About the Blog

Just like anything, becoming good at songwriting requires a lot of trial and error. Sometimes we’re able to quickly realize when something isn’t working, and know right away what we need to do to fix it. Sometimes it’s a longer, more frustrating process. I don’t claim to be an expert or a genius, but I know I wouldn’t be where I am today without some very smart people investing their time and wisdom in me. This blog is my attempt to give back to the songwriting community, and share some of the lessons I’ve learned along the way.

  1. Hey Daniel,

My name is Ritch Esra. I’m the publisher of the A&R Registry and I’m writing to you regarding your wonderful article – 5 Indicators of Whether You’re an Amateur or a Pro Musician.

I wanted to get your permission to reprint it in our upcoming edition of the Fall Issue. I’d be happy to send you a copy to review if you send me your e-mail address.

    Thanks,

    Ritch Esra
